Learn and grow with music!

Lynda Fish graduated with honors from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education with certification in grades K-12. As an undergraduate, she was awarded a RIC "Special Talent" scholarship for excellence in performance. She won state awards in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and national awards in both solo and ensemble competitions. Lynda is a virtuoso accordionist as well as an accomplished pianist.

Lynda has an extensive teaching history including public and private schools, summer camps, children's theater, and private piano and accordion lessons. She is a member of the Accordion Teachers Guild Intenational, has received two Massachusetts Arts Council grants and was awarded the North Attleboro Cultural Council's McKeil Award for her contributions to the local arts community.

In 2014, Lynda founded the Keys! Music Challenge for Kids, an educational and instructional festival and competition for music students. The first event, a piano challenge, was held May 3, 2014.

When Lynda is not teaching kids to make music, she is often seen around New England playing with the "Jolly Kopperschmidts" German Oktoberfest Band, or the "Lustige Strefenhornchens" Band. She performed twice as accordion soloist with the Middlesex Concert Band, and was featured at the Boston Festival of Bands at Fanieul Hall in 2014.
